  • California Invasive Plant Council (Cal-IPC): Information regarding California invasive plants and their management
  • California Native Plant Link Exchange (CNPLX): A resource for finding supplier of California native plant seed and transplants throughout the state
  • California Native Plant Society (CNPS): Information on native plants of all types. Includes information on all of their programs (Conservation, Education, Growing Natives, Rare Plant Science and Vegetation Science)
  • California's Coastal Prairies: Educational resource project of the Sonoma Marin Coastal Grasslands Working Group
  • California Society for Ecological Restoration (SERCAL): Information on recovering damaged ecosystems. They put on conferences, symposia, workshops, and field trips
  • Institute for Applied Ecology: Information on the Oregon based non-profit’s conservation research, ecological education program, habitat restoration program, and useful published reports
  • Master Gardeners: Volunteers who provide University of California approved horticulture information to the home gardeners
  • Native Seed Network: Includes a vendor list, species recommendations, and information on their National Native Seed Conference
  • Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS): The NRCS works in partnership with the Yolo RCD
  • USDA Plants Database: A database providing distribution maps and detailed information on native and non-native plants
  • Urban Bee Gardens: A resource for planning a pollinator friendly garden. Hosted by UC Berkeley
  • Xerces Society: A resource for information on pollinator conservation. Includes pollinator-friendly plant lists and handy fact sheets and brochures
  • Weed Research Information Center: The Weed Research and Information Center is an interdisciplinary collaboration that fosters research in weed management and facilitates distribution of associated knowledge for the benefit of agriculture and for the preservation of natural resources. Hosted by University of California Cooperative Extension and Agricultural Experiment Station
